What is it?
The Sasuraibito Tarot is a 78-card deck by artist Stasia Burrington. The Japanese word sasuraibito most closely translates to wanderer, an old literary term for a person who is ever-seeking, looking for a place of healing and refuge. The deck is loosely inspired by the Rider-Waite tradition, contemporary Western life, and Japanese and Buddhist ideas. Cards measure 2.75 x 4.75 inches on smooth, sturdy 330gsm stock with a matte finish, and come in a lidded box with a 63-page guidebook.
What can I use it for?
Use it for daily draws, full spreads, journaling prompts, or reflection. Because it follows familiar Rider-Waite structure in many places, it can be a comfortable deck for beginners, while its artwork offers fresh perspective for experienced readers.
When do I use it?
Anytime you are at a crossroads or simply curious about what is next. You may enjoy pulling a card at the new moon, at the start of a new season, or on a quiet morning with a cup of tea.
